·¬ºÅ¿âapp has once again been recognised for its dedication to sustainability, earning Platinum accreditation in the University of Cambridge’s Green Impact awards for 2025. This marks the 12th consecutive year that ·¬ºÅ¿âapp has achieved either Gold or Platinum status, a testament to the College’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact.

Green Impact is the University of Cambridge's environmental accreditation scheme which supports and encourages departments and Colleges in reducing their environmental impacts. Each year teams complete an online toolkit of sustainability actions to accumulate points, with over 200 points required to reach Platinum status.

In addition to this achievement, ·¬ºÅ¿âapp also received a earlier this year. Each year, these awards highlight inspiring action that extend beyond the typical team achievements, showcasing innovative and impactful contributions to a greener future. Our Tangled Planet outreach programme which ran in 2024 was singled out by a panel of judges for engaging young people with biodiversity loss and environmental change. The judges were particularly impressed by the programme’s innovative, hands-on approach to climate change communication, empowering students to take an active role in conservation storytelling.
